Nvidia may announce a new lineup of AI servers at the GTC 2025 event
Nvidia’s GPU Technology Conference (GTC 2025 – USA) is expected to bring significant updates on the next-generation AI server lineup. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from TF International Securities, this event could impact the AI market, especially amid recent signs of a downturn in tech stocks.
One of the most anticipated highlights of the conference is the Blackwell B300 chip, the successor to the previous Blackwell B200 series. This chip will come in two variants: dual-die (CoWoS-L) and single-die (CoWoS-S), with HBM memory capacity increasing from 192 GB to 288 GB. The B300 is expected to deliver 50% higher performance than the B200. Nvidia plans to begin trial production of the B300 in Q2 2025 and ramp up mass production in Q3 of the same year.
For those interested in watching the event, the GTC 2025 keynote will be live-streamed on Monday, March 18, at 8 AM (Pacific Daylight Time). NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang is expected to deliver a highly engaging and content-rich presentation.
Additionally, the conference might clarify the production timeline of the GB200 NVL72, a product that has been gaining market interest. If Nvidia can provide concrete data on its deployment in data centers and outline the upgrade path from B200 to B300, it could reshape investor expectations for the new product lineup.
Beyond the B300 chip, Nvidia is also expected to introduce the GB300 NVL72 AI server system. This product is expected to have the same rack size and power requirements as the previous GB200 NVL32 model, ensuring compatibility with existing data centers. The GB300 NVL72 prototype is scheduled for release in June 2025.

In addition to chips and servers, Nvidia may unveil several new data center networking solutions, including Quantum-3, Quantum-X800, Spectrum-5, and ConnectX-8 (CX8). The CX8 is designed to double the speed of its predecessor while integrating with SuperNIC and PCIe Switch to reduce power consumption by approximately 30%.
While Edge AI is considered one of the key emerging trends, GTC 2025 will likely focus primarily on AI server solutions. AI PC-related solutions, such as N1X and N1, may instead be introduced at Computex 2025 in Taiwan, which will take place later.
