ASUS unveils premium dual-screen ROG Zephyrus Duo OLED gaming laptop
ASUS has officially launched the ROG Zephyrus Duo GX651AX, bringing its latest dual-screen gaming laptop to the region with flagship hardware and a premium design. The 16-inch machine is aimed at gamers, streamers, and creators who want extra workspace without relying on external monitors, though the price reflects its ambitious feature set, maxing at $5500 / 5100€ / £4600 for exclusive preorder on the ASUS eShop starting 18 May 2026.
The biggest highlight is its dual 16-inch ROG Nebula HDR OLED touchscreens. Both displays feature 3K resolution, 120Hz refresh rates, 0.2ms response times, full DCI-P3 color coverage, and brightness levels reaching up to 1100 nits. The secondary display allows users to keep chats, editing timelines, references, or streaming tools open while gaming or working on the primary screen, making multitasking much easier.
ASUS includes five different usage modes: Dual Screen, Laptop, Sharing, Book, and Tent modes. The detachable magnetic keyboard can also function wirelessly, allowing more flexible setups depending on whether the device is being used for gaming, editing, coding, or collaboration.
Powering the system is an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor paired with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. This hardware combination is designed for high-end gaming, AI-assisted creative workloads, 3D rendering, and demanding video editing tasks. ASUS says a custom vapor chamber cooling solution helps manage thermals inside the compact dual-screen chassis.
Additional features include a 90Wh battery, Wi-Fi 7 support, Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, HDMI 2.1, Dolby Atmos audio, and an IR camera with Windows Hello support. The laptop also retains the sleek Zephyrus design language with a CNC-milled aluminum chassis finished in Stellar Grey and customizable Slash Lighting on the lid. At launch, eligible preorder customers can also claim a LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight game bundle, alongside ASUS Perfect Warranty coverage for accidental damage when registered promptly.
While the Zephyrus Duo GX651AX offers clear productivity advantages, its specialized design and high cost mean it will mainly appeal to users who regularly multitask across gaming and creative applications. Still, it stands out as one of the most advanced dual-screen gaming laptops currently available.
