Forza Street is free-to-play on PC and mobile
Microsoft’s exclusive racing series Forza Street is coming at you at full speed!
Miami Street, the Turn 10 Studio’s renamed Forza Street racing game got a new spinoff since Monday this week. The free-to-play game that’s designed to be played anytime and anywhere is already available on Windows PC. It is also coming to iOS and Android phones later this year. Forza Street was released by Microsoft last year and now it comes loaded with a fresh narrative, new cars, upgraded car parts, faster boot-ups, new animations, more languages, and audio polishing. The gameplay of Forza is timing-based and boosts are earned depending on how skilled you are timing the use of your gas and brakes. From the Forza monthly episode, we know that Forza Street uses a modified version of Forza’s physics engine. Players take part in races that take less than a minute but you can also get into longer campaigns. You can collect cars as you progress into the game, in fact, there’s a long list of impressive cars you can collect. There are Xbox Live achievements as well. The game is neither a driving simulator like Forza Motorsport nor an open world racing title like Forza Horizon.
Forza Street is easy to play as it has timing-based controls to make it easier to join races regardless of your location. You need to hold down a button/space bar (possible a finger on your phone screen) to accelerate and release the brake. You can tap another button to activate boosts once you have them. Forza Street is the first Forza title to be released in platforms other than Xbox One and PC. The game is now available on Windows 10 via Microsoft store. It will then be available on mobiles in the coming months to compete against the big league mobile car racing games such as Asphalt and Real Racing 3.
