Logitech unveils RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle for PC and console racers

Logitech brings McLaren style to an all-in-one PC and console racing bundle

Logitech G and McLaren Racing are expanding their sim-racing partnership with a new all-in-one bundle aimed squarely at Formula 1 fans. The RS50 McLaren Racing Bundle combines Logitech's direct-drive wheelbase, pedals, formula-style wheel, and wheel hub in McLaren's distinctive Papaya orange, giving racers most of what they need to get started with a single purchase.

At the center of the package is the 8 Nm RS50 direct-drive wheelbase, paired with the RS Formula Wheel McLaren Racing Edition and RS Wheel Hub. The latter adds magnetic paddle shifters and integrated controls, while the entire setup is designed for relatively quick installation on either a dedicated racing rig or a desk.

The bundle also includes RS Pedals SE with Hall-effect technology for both the throttle and brake. Logitech says buyers can upgrade the brake to a load-cell setup later rather than paying for the more advanced option immediately. The Hall-effect brake can also be reassigned as a clutch for players using a manual transmission setup.

Logitech is offering several other McLaren-branded components for those looking to build a complete racing station. These include the Playseat Formula Instinct McLaren Racing Edition cockpit and the Logitech G A50 X McLaren Racing Edition wireless gaming headset.

For newcomers who do not need the complete package, Logitech is also maintaining a more gradual upgrade path. The lineup includes PC-only versions of the RS50 System and G923, allowing buyers to start with less expensive hardware before moving to the more advanced RS50 setup. Both the RS50 and G923 also support Logitech's TRUEFORCE force-feedback technology.

The Papaya finish is more than just a cosmetic choice. Logitech points to McLaren founder Bruce McLaren introducing the color during the 1960s, making it a recognizable part of the team's identity throughout its racing history.

The McLaren Racing Bundle is available in a PlayStation and PC-compatible configuration for £759.99 / €849.99 / $899.99. A PC-only version will follow at £669.99 / €749.99 / $799.99, offering a lower-cost option for PC racers. Logitech and McLaren first revealed the individual products in September 2025, with the new bundle bringing them together at a lower combined price.

The new bundle is part of Logitech G's PLAY 2026 announcements, which also include the PRO X3 Lightspeed headset, PRO X3 Superstrike mouse, PRO X2 Rapid keyboard, and Yeti 2 microphone.
