Green Man Gaming serves up a bundle full of metroidvania favorites

Master new abilities in Green Man Gaming’s newest metroidvania collection

Green Man Gaming has launched another game bundle, and while the retailer doesn't release them as frequently as some competitors, they're usually worth checking out. The new Metroidvania Madness Bundle brings together six games from the genre across three price tiers, with savings of up to 60% compared to buying the games individually.

The Bronze tier costs $8 / €8 / £7.25 and includes Afterimage and Vomitoreum. In Afterimage, players step into the shoes of an amnesiac heroine exploring the beautifully hand-drawn world of Engardin while fighting to restore balance to the kingdom. Vomitoreum, despite its unusual name, delivers fast-paced retro FPS action as you battle horrifying creatures in an attempt to stop a deadly virus.

Stepping up to the Silver tier for $12 / €12 / £11 adds GRIME and Islets. GRIME blends Soulslike combat with Metroidvania exploration, allowing players to wield living weapons, absorb defeated enemies, and grow stronger while traversing a surreal, organic world. Meanwhile, Islets offers a much more relaxed adventure, tasking players with reconnecting floating islands by restoring their magnetic cores while meeting charming characters along the way.

The Gold tier costs $14 / €14 / £12.50 and completes the collection with what are arguably its two biggest highlights. Laika: Aged Through Blood combines motorcycle-based combat with a hand-painted post-apocalyptic western setting, creating one of the genre's most distinctive experiences. Joining it is Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus, a beautifully animated Metroidvania inspired by Japanese folklore that features challenging platforming and fluid combat.

Every purchase also includes a 3% discount voucher that can be used on a future Green Man Gaming order. As with other Green Man Gaming bundles, all games are provided as official PC game keys that can be redeemed through Steam. If you're looking to expand your library even further, both Humble and Fanatical are also running several game bundles, including Humble's Upload VR Bundle for virtual reality fans.

The Green Man Gaming Metroidvania Madness Bundle will remain available until July 21, giving players several weeks to decide whether to add this collection of critically acclaimed platforming adventures to their library. As always, if you’re looking to get the most value from your gaming budget, be sure to browse our dedicated deals hub for the latest offers.
