Our Summer Event was a success!

dLcompare’s Summer Event has officially come to an end, and the community certainly didn’t go quietly. After weeks of ratings, comments, reviews, and plenty of competitive leaderboard climbing, the seasonal event has wrapped up with more than $2,000 in prizes handed out.

The event turned dLcompare into something of a gaming community marathon, with participants earning points through different activities across the platform. By the time the final scores were tallied, the numbers were impressive: users collectively submitted 8,300 game ratings, 4,000 news comments, and 500 store reviews.

Five players share the top spot

The final leaderboard was exceptionally close. Milox, benozin, Goultard, Uny, and Nachos all finished with 4,190 points, earning them a $120 USDC prize each.

The next five participants weren't far behind. KittenChucklenugget, juanpr85, Paltodrilo, Reign, and Athemith each ended the event on 4,180 points, receiving $65 USDC apiece.

The remaining places in the top 20 were also rewarded. PhoenixAdi, FiskerMann, bonneinne, AizenReis, sylxid, neekimyong, LaviBorra, SerYohoho, Dlogger, and gif1234 finished with between 4,175 and 4,170 points and will receive a €10 gift card each.

Those gift cards weren't part of the original prize pool. We added them after the event concluded as an extra bonus, giving more members of the community a reward for breaking into the top 20. Leaderboard prizes will be sent out over the next few days.

What comes next for dLcompare?

With the Summer Event now in the books, we are already looking ahead. The team is considering expanding the prize pool for the next event, potentially allowing even more participants to walk away with rewards.
