Corsair launches SABRE v3 PRO PureVector mouse with aim-learning tech

Corsair unveils SABRE v3 PRO PureVector gaming mouse with smart aim tech

Corsair is taking a different approach to competitive mouse sensitivity with its new Sabre v3 PRO PureVector lineup, developed in collaboration with Aimlabs. Rather than relying on a single DPI setting for every movement, the new PureVector technology calibrates sensitivity separately for different directions, aiming to account for the natural inconsistencies in how people move their hands.

The system combines calibration software and data-driven analysis to build a personalized sensitivity profile without requiring users to adjust individual settings manually. Once configured, the profile is saved directly to the mouse's firmware, allowing players to carry their customized settings between computers, games, and applications.

Corsair and Aimlabs claim the technology can make a measurable difference. According to their internal testing, PureVector reduced the aiming and correction phase of a shot by up to 81 milliseconds, or 33%. This is the period between identifying a target and settling the crosshair on it. The companies argue that improving this stage can have a greater impact on aiming performance than reducing click latency alone, although independent testing will be needed to verify the results.

Beyond the new sensitivity technology, all Sabre v3 PRO PureVector models share a high-end hardware platform. A Nordic 54-series MCU enables polling rates of up to 8,000Hz in both wired and wireless modes, while Corsair's Marksman X 42K optical sensor offers up to 42,000 DPI, 800 IPS tracking speed, and 70G acceleration. Optical switches and an optical scroll wheel complete the package.

The lineup includes three chassis designs, each available in standard and right-handed ergonomic versions. The ULTRALIGHT weighs just 37 grams, rising to 41 grams for the ULTRALIGHT ERGO, and delivers up to 140 hours of battery life at 1,000Hz polling. The MG models use a magnesium alloy exoskeleton, while the CF versions feature a carbon fiber unibody shell.

Available from October 20, 2026, the mice are sold through Corsair and selected retailers. Carbon fiber models are exclusive to Corsair's own sales channels. All six variants come with a two-year warranty and Corsair's worldwide service support. Pricing is as follows:

  • Sabre v3 PRO PureVector ULTRALIGHT and ULTRALIGHT ERGO: $179.99 / €199.99 / £169.99
  • Sabre v3 PRO PureVector MG and MG ERGO: $199.99 / €219.99 / £189.99
  • Sabre v3 PRO PureVector CF: $229.99 / €249.99 / £209.99

The Corsair SABRE v3 PRO PureVector series joins a growing market for premium competitive gaming mice, alongside some recently launched products such as the Razer Basilisk V4 Pro, Logitech Pro X3 Superstrike and ASUS ROG Gladius IV Ace.
