Grab two free games on the Epic Games Store before the offer expires

Epic’s latest free game giveaway brings two titles you won’t want to miss

The Epic Games Store has refreshed its weekly free game promotion, replacing last week's TerraScape and Out of Sight giveaways with two new titles. This time, players can claim Agent A: A puzzle in disguise and Bad Cheese, offering a mix of stylish spy-themed puzzles and unsettling psychological horror just in time for Halloween.

Both games are available to add permanently to your Epic Games Store library, provided you claim them before the promotion ends on October 22. Once redeemed, they will remain in your account even after the giveaway expires.

First up is Agent A: A puzzle in disguise, a point-and-click adventure inspired by the espionage thrillers of the 1960s. Players take on the role of a secret agent tasked with tracking down Ruby La Rouge, an enemy spy whose hidden lair is packed with secrets, cleverly concealed objects, and logic-based challenges.

Progress depends on careful observation and problem-solving rather than reflexes. You'll need to explore each room, collect useful items, spot subtle clues, and work out how different pieces fit together to uncover the mysteries surrounding Ruby. Its combination of escape-room mechanics and retro spy aesthetics has proved popular with players, earning the game a 95% positive rating from Steam reviewers.

The second freebie, Bad Cheese, takes a much darker approach. Although its 2D animation resembles an old-fashioned cartoon, the game is a psychological horror experience built around disturbing situations and surreal encounters.

Players control Keymick, a young mouse left at home for the weekend with his intimidating father. What begins as a series of everyday household chores gradually becomes increasingly unsettling as Keymick faces bizarre events and frightening experiences. The game also features mature themes, making it a considerably less lighthearted experience than its cartoon-inspired visuals might suggest.

Together, the two giveaways offer very different ways to spend the week, whether you prefer untangling elaborate puzzles or exploring a disturbing indie horror adventure. You can claim Agent A: A puzzle in disguise and Bad Cheese for free through the Epic Games Store until October 22, when the next weekly giveaway is scheduled to begin.

Two games with completely different vibes, and both free to keep? That's a pretty good deal. Out of Sight caught my attention because of its unusual horror concept, while TerraScape looks perfect for a more relaxing gaming session. These weekly giveaways are a great way to discover games I might not have bought otherwise.
