Grab Tropico 4 for completely free in GOG's latest Back To School sale

The GOG store, famous for offering DRM-free classic and modern games, is currently hosting a big sale to mark the back to school season. It's a bit perplexing as to why someone would want to add more games to their backlog when school is starting, but along with the sale, there's also a complimentary game up for grabs.

For the next three days, players can claim a free copy of Tropico 4, a city building and management game that puts you in the shoes of El Presidente of a fictional Caribbean island nation, on the GOG store.

Developed by Haemimont Games, Tropico 4 was released in 2011, giving fans another chance to rule over a banana republic. Throughout the game, you'll have to navigate threats from Communists, Capitalists, Environmentalists, Religious factions, and various other groups, each wanting you to prioritize their cause. The game kicks off with you, El Presidente, seizing power of Tropico island and needing to handle its trade, negotiate with external powers, and ensure victory in elections to avoid a game over. A coup would result in a loss as well. The humorous game features 20 missions spread across 10 islands.
