Huge discounts hit thousands of PC games in the weeklong Steam Autumn Sale

As the temperatures drop and the leaves begin to fall, get ready for your expenses to increase. The Steam Autumn Sale 2025 has kicked off, offering a wave of discounts on both major releases and indie titles alike.

In keeping with tradition, Valve is providing an extra incentive for players who engage with their Discovery Queues: you can earn nine animated stickers. To receive all nine Steam Autumn Sale 2025 stickers, you’ll have to complete the Discovery Queue three times. Here’s the procedure: log in to Steam, navigate to the Discover Queue section, and progress through the queue. Completing each one will reward you with three stickers.

The front page is the go-to destination for those seeking game recommendations, as it highlights new titles every day. Just remember that the discounts will remain unchanged throughout the duration of the sale.

The well-liked "Deep Discounts" feature has returned as well. Steam users can easily locate the largest price reductions directly from the front page. This section showcases a roster of "all-time greats" with discounts ranging from 85% to 95% off their regular prices. Notable inclusions this time are Far Cry Primal, Elite Dangerous, Old World, Control Ultimate Edition, DOOM Eternal, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and more.

Regulars of the platform might have noticed that this year the Autumn Sale is taking place at a different time than usual, as Valve typically held it in late November. However, as announced earlier this year, the schedule has shifted a bit to address the long stretch without sales between the Steam Summer and Winter events. Consequently, the Steam Awards will no longer coincide with this sale and will likely occur later in November.
