Insomniac delays New Game Plus for Marvel's Spider-Man 2

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is already considered the best video game starring the iconic superhero. Not only does it offer the players an exciting storyline with plenty of surprises to discover and new villains to fight, but also delivers a dynamic and exciting gameplay experience full of action. An unexpected delay

Insomniac Games promised to release an update for the game that would add a New Game Plus mode and some other novelties to Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Unfortunately, it seems that it's going to take the studio more than expected to have it ready to deploy. An official statement leaves it very clear that such an addition won't arrive until next year and explains the reasons behind that postponement.

“We have some news about the next game update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. We know players have been eagerly awaiting features such as New Game+ and Audio Descriptions, among many more. We have been working vigilantly on these features and require more testing to ensure the quality is up to our standards. We are now targeting Early 2024 for the next game update, and we’ll have a feature-complete list closer to its release. We’ve heard your feedback and will be adding some highly requested features, including the ability to change the time of day, swap tendril colors, and replay missions – just to name a few!"
