I was able to play a little this weekend with some friends and I had a lot of fun. The time flew by. It's true that it has its good things and bad things but, in general, the game is very good. This game offers what you are looking for. Gunplay, loot, mayhem and stupid jokes. Exactly what it promises, but multiplied by 10. It's not reinventing the wheel... it's strapping rockets to it and crashing it into a psycho's base while traveling with a corrosive SMG and a screaming vault beast at your side.

It's blowing me away. I've always been a big fan of this franchise, I've played them all, both its main games, as well as all its spin-offs and expansion DLCs. Therefore, my verdict is already more than clear; Borderlands 4 is by all accounts the best installment of the franchise since the beloved Borderlands 2. This fourth installment is what could be said as "the result of all these years of experience by Gearbox with the franchise". There is no room for boredom in Kairos and if you want to do absolutely everything, you can prepare to spend well over a hundred hours (although if you want you can go only for the campaign that is about 35 hours and then do everything else once you open the end game).

The game is super recommended, although spending so much money on it if you're not a fan of the saga, I do not see the most advisable at the moment, when it is on sale or have put more story dlcs if I see it well. The game feels weird. It's such a big change from the other Borderlands that, especially at the beginning, it doesn't feel like Borderlands. The story is fine, it's more raw and engaging, although the Borderlands 2 story is better. The gore is fine as is, but busting heads felt more satisfying in 3.

Borderlands 4 is a first-person shooter that lets players customize their character with different weapons and abilities, depending on the class chosen. This title will have 3 new weapon manufacturers, giving the option to change certain parts of a weapon to others, thus opening up a new range of possibilities for builds. All characters have access to a jetpack, double jump, climbing hook and more. Coop is an option and a great way to enjoy the game.

It could have been fun, interesting, despite the disappointment that was three. But damn, the optimization of this game is a disaster, and the comments made by the representatives on this subject are reminiscent of Microsoft on Starfield. I'll have to pass.

After several hours of play, I think I can now give my opinion on Borderlands 4. The setting and style that have made Borderlands the way it is is is maintained. The weapons and combat system makes the game entertaining, moving, although there are not too many customization options for weapons, at least as far as I have come. At least as far as I've gotten. The voices and sounds are great, although the original voice actors are missing. The story is what I liked the least, to be honest. The multiplayer, as always, is cool, highly recommended to play with friends.

One sequel too many. The essence of this saga has clearly been lost, and in the end I'd say it's a good shooter, but without the DNA of Borderlands.

Borderlands 4 is the long-awaited return for looter-shooter fans, and on the whole it delivers. Strengths: the gunplay is excellent, precise and satisfying. Shooting in Borderlands has always been a joy, and here it is again. New movement mechanics (double jump, grappling hook, sliding, etc.) add a welcome freshness and make exploration much more dynamic. The open world is more vast, more immersive, and the loot is rich: enough to satisfy those who like to search every nook and cranny, hunting for the various legendary items. Graphically, the cel-shaded visual style is as successful as ever, with solid art direction and well-thought-out environments. But the balance isn't perfect. The script and characters are far less memorable. The antagonist lacks depth and certain narrative moments are a little hollow or rushed. Even with the Day One patches, FPS still drops.

Borderlands 4 is a more dynamic open world with massive loot and a fun co-op mode. The gameplay is edgier, with a greater variety of weapons than its predecessor. On the other hand, the game is very poorly opti 32gb of ram recommended, for the gpu RTX 3080; 6800 XT; B580 and even with that you're going to have fps drops even in low. I recommend waiting for a patch to sort this out.
