Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections game system trailer

Bandai Namco released a new trailer for Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections so players can discover more about its gameplay in this new system trailer and a sneak peek video from the game's original Special Story mode. This special mode will let players relive the story of Naruto and Sasuke through some of their most epic fights. In addition, a special story focused on Boruto has been created specifically for the game.

Players can also pick their favorites between more than 130 characters, the most yet in an Ultimate Ninja Storm. Facing their opponents, they can use various combos and even change their leader to keep the pressure on their opponents.

Ninjutsu and Awakening will play an important part as well. From this game, players can pick up to 6 Ninjutsu abilities to take the advantage against their opponents. They can also awaken into a new form that will grant them more power to turn the tide in their favor. To try and finish the battle, players can use all their chakra and unleash a powerful Secret Technique, which, when selecting specific characters, can turn into a Combination Secret Technique.

By fighting solo or online, characters will level up and unlock some customization and other unlockables, such as Finish scenes. Offline Free Battles will let players choose their course or choose how they want to fight against a computer or do an offline tournament. Players can then hone their skills against others worldwide in Online mode, choosing between Casual Match and Ranked Match.

New control mode for beginners

Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections now offers a simple control style, where your character will unfold complex sequences by pressing the attack button. This system is a novelty being introduced in most recent fighting games. It's present in Street Fighter 6, where it's called Modern Controls, and in the upcoming Tekken 8, which calls it Special Style control type. These new control modes give new players an edge in battle while they learn all about the game.

Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections will be released on 17th November 2023 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
