As a PC gamer, I'm glad we're finally getting the next-gen version and not the current-gen version, with new graphics and mechanics and a cool career mode.

A sort of slot machine that does the same thing year after year. As long as consumers are buying, they won't bother to make any improvements worthy of the name, a waste of time and money in my opinion.

You change the year, a few players and that's it. Seriously, I'm sure there's a bit more to it than that, but these changes are ridiculous for the asking price.

These games have become cash grabs, and releasing a new title every year is already very complicated in terms of diversity. Apart from deleting/adding names, the differences are minimal, but the worst thing is microtransactions.

I decided a long time ago not to buy games that come out every year and have been doing so effectively. I hope that someday, instead of releasing a new game every year, I will reconsider the day they release it as paid DLC at a more reasonable price.

It's basically like FIFA... always the same game with little innovation or change. At least adding fun game modes like dunk contests etc. would be nice.

I'm not a fan of NBA games, so I'll pass on this one. Anyway, it's already well discounted, so it might be worth a try for people who enjoy the series.

I'm older and started with 2K from the first one on Dreamcast. I've been a big fan for a long time. They still have animations and bugs that they had for over 10 years. Constant overhead passes, unnatural left handed passes and left handed tackles and shots that many players have never done in their life.
