Nvidia has unveiled its GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti graphics cards
These new GPUs will extend the advantages of Nvidia's “Blackwell” graphics architecture to a wider range of gamers, setting the stage for neural rendering with the company's latest "Neural Shaders."
Alongside these graphics cards, there is enhanced support for DLSS 4, Nvidia’s improved AI upscaling technology. With the addition of Nvidia’s 5th generation tensor cores, the Blackwell GPUs can now handle AI tasks more efficiently. Moreover, the RTX 50 series introduces support for DLSS Multi-Frame Generation.
In the RTX 50 series, Nvidia promises improvements in both framerate and latency compared to its older RTX 40 and RTX 30 series graphics cards. When looking at Nvidia's 60-series GPUs, it is evident that the new RTX 5060 offers a superior gaming experience compared to its earlier versions. Even without utilizing frame generation or multi-frame generation, the Nvidia RTX 5060 demonstrates considerable performance enhancements over its 40-series and 30-series counterparts.

A similar trend is observed with the RTX 5060 Ti. When compared to Nvidia’s RTX 4060 Ti, the updated RTX 5060 Ti outperforms its predecessor, both with and without multi-frame generation. This latest RTX 5060 Ti provides gamers with a more robust gaming experience.

The pricing for Nvidia’s RTX 5060 is consistent with that of their previous RTX 4060. This means that Nvidia is offering increased performance without raising prices. Thus, Nvidia’s RTX 5060 should present greater value to gamers. The RTX 5060 will still include 8GB of VRAM, which may frustrate some gamers, as many current games can take advantage of more VRAM, even at 1080p.
Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti will be released on April 16th, with a starting price of $379. It's important to note that the 8GB variant of this GPU will be available at $379, while the 16GB version will start at $429. Nvidia’s RTX 5060 graphics card is set to launch in May.
The RTX 5060 is a great entry point for gamers stepping into the world of RTX, providing solid performance and next-generation features at an affordable price. However, for those looking to maximize settings to ultra, future-proof their gaming setup, and unlock the full potential of contemporary gaming—there's simply no alternative to the RTX 5080.
