A gold-plated RTX 5090 signed by Jensen Huang is set to be auctioned for charity

ASUS North America has announced that they will soon be auctioning a Jensen Huang signed ROG Astral RTX 5090 Dhahab Edition GPU, with all proceeds benefiting charity. Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia, is the driving force behind the GeForce RTX 5090.

If you thought that the high-end models of NVIDIA's RTX 5090 were already costly enough - and they definitely are - a new edition of the ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 is set to come with a price tag that will make any budget tremble. This is primarily due to the fact that this graphics card is adorned in gold (the shroud has a golden finish) and is personally signed by Jensen Huang himself (at GTC 2025).

The ASUS Dhahab Edition GPU (which translates to Gold in Arabic) is a deluxe version of their already top-tier ROG Astral RTX 5090 graphics card. This special edition GPU is created specifically for the Middle Eastern market, featuring Arabic script and a gold-colored heatsink.

ASUS has confirmed that this GPU will be available for public auction. The funds raised will go towards supporting relief efforts for the California wildfires in Los Angeles.

The flagship ASUS ROG Astral is already quite expensive - the liquid-cooled model is currently listed at $3,410 on the ASUS store in the US. Therefore, a golden, signed variant of the ROG Astral is expected to fetch a price well above just a few thousand dollars.

With Jensen Huang’s autograph added, this could potentially be the most valuable GeForce RTX graphics card in existence. This is a “Gold Edition” of an already elite GPU model. Moreover, Nvidia’s RTX 5090 is currently the priciest graphics card available to consumers. Combine Jensen’s signature, and we end up with something of even greater worth.
