Chivalry 2 is officially complete

It's been a long while since Torn Banner Studios released Chivalry 2. After three years, the game servers have hosted countless medieval multiplayer battles. The experience the game delivers has been greatly improved with the addition of many novelties via free updates, including new maps, weapons, combat changes, quality-of-life improvements, and even gameplay modes. In a recent statement, Torn Banner Studio has revealed that it considers Chivalry 2 finished. There will be no more content updates for the game as the studio has already included all the features and additional post-launch content that it intended to add. The fans of Chivalry 2 already knew that this day had to come sooner or later. Still, three years' worth of exciting additions seems enough for a game that continues to deliver an intense multiplayer experience. But it's not going to be the end of the game.

"As the game's 11th and final content piece, released in May, the Regicide Update revealed to players the narrative conclusion of Chivalry 2’s war between Argon II and Malric. This update included one of our proudest creations to date, the cinematic Team Objective map “Citadel” - which pits the two kings against each other for a final duel that makes a fitting end to an epic saga. With the Regicide Update, we consider the game to be content and feature complete.

This isn’t the end for Chivalry 2, either—the game will continue to be supported for maintenance of any critical issues affecting the player base. Online services like official servers, unofficial servers, and matchmaking will continue to be available to players."

On the same statement, the developer studio has confirmed that it's not the end of the popular franchise either even though we may have to wait for a bit until we hear of Chivalry 3 because the studio is currently focused on releasing a new cooperative multiplayer survival zombie game titled No More Room in Hell 2.
