Grab two roguelite games free with this week’s Epic Games giveaway

It's that day of the week again, as Epic Games has refreshed its weekly giveaway. Last week's free copy of Foretales is no longer available, but PC gamers can now claim two new titles instead. This week's lineup features OTXO and Sol Cesto, two roguelites that offer very different takes on the genre, and as always, they're yours to keep once redeemed.

The bigger name of the pair is OTXO, a fast-paced top-down shooter that wears its Hotline Miami inspiration proudly. Players enter a mysterious mansion in search of a lost love, blasting through heavily armed enemies while uncovering the secrets hidden within its ever-changing halls. Combat revolves around quick reflexes, stylish gunplay, and a slow-motion mechanic that helps you weave through incoming bullets when things get chaotic.

There's plenty of variety too. OTXO features dozens of weapons to experiment with, more than 100 unlockable abilities, and procedurally generated layouts that ensure every run plays out differently. Whether you're trying a fresh build or simply chasing a better run, there's a good amount of replay value packed into each attempt.

Joining it is Sol Cesto, a roguelite with a much more unusual gameplay loop. Instead of freely exploring dungeons, your route is determined by a roulette wheel, forcing you to adapt to whatever challenge comes next. As you descend through an underground world in search of the missing sun, you'll encounter dangerous monsters, collect relics, and combine powerful upgrades to improve your odds of surviving increasingly difficult encounters.

While both games fall under the roguelite umbrella, they couldn't feel more different. OTXO leans heavily into lightning-fast action and precise shooting, while Sol Cesto mixes tactical decision-making with luck-based progression, creating a fresh spin on dungeon crawling.

The new giveaways are available through the Epic Games Store until August 6, giving players one week to add both games to their libraries permanently. Once the promotion ends, Epic has already confirmed the next pair of free titles. Beacon Pines and We Were Here Together will replace OTXO and Sol Cesto, continuing the store's long-running weekly giveaway program with another double drop.
