Halloween: The Game Turns Tower Farm into a Hunting Ground

Halloween: The Game brings the hunt to Tower Farm
Updates & Patches

Leaving the streets of Haddonfield behind, Michael Myers heads into the countryside just as the harvest celebrations begin. Among cornfields, old barns, and pumpkin patches, the peaceful surroundings of Tower Farm become a new hunting ground in Halloween: The Game. Released on October 27, 2026, Tower Farm Terror is the game’s first major post-launch content update, centered on a free map inspired by Halloween 5. Joining the new location are the Scythe weapon, which players can unlock through challenges, and a selection of separately purchased DLC packs.

What does Tower Farm Terror bring to the hunt?

Following Michael Myers’ return, the 1v4 encounters in Halloween: The Game expand into a new setting steeped in autumn atmosphere. Located outside Haddonfield’s residential neighborhoods, Tower Farm welcomes families looking to carve pumpkins, listen to music, and enjoy the harvest festival. The fading evening light falls across farmhouses, barns, and irrigation structures along country roads, while a nearby trailer park has its own laundromat and convenience store.

These everyday surroundings make Michael’s presence all the more unsettling. A brightly lit gas station can help players find their bearings, but reaching the next shelter still means crossing exposed stretches of road. Roadside ditches offer a way to stay out of sight, while houses, barns, and sheds provide temporary refuge. Between them, hay bales, farm equipment, and overgrown bushes can also conceal Michael as he waits for someone to pass.

That is what makes the game’s fifth multiplayer map intriguing: there are plenty of places to hide, but getting from one to the next is another matter entirely.

Players who own the game can access the following content without purchasing additional DLC:

  • Tower Farm is now available in Matchmaking and Private Matches, with a new sewer escape.
  • The Scythe can be found on the new map. To unlock it as a Starting Weapon, players can complete the Scythe Progressive Challenges. Purchasing the 1989 Michael skin from Halloween 5 unlocks it immediately, but is not required.
  • Three new Context Executions have been added.
  • The Ghoul Goggles “Jack” Civilian cosmetic can be earned by smashing 50 pumpkins with weapons before November 3 at 10 AM PT.

For players working toward the Scythe, the October 28 hotfix addressed an issue that prevented access to its unlock challenge. This is worth knowing for anyone who jumped in when Tower Farm Terror launched but could not begin the challenge.

The paid DLC offers additional character and cosmetic choices:

  • Two Michael Myers skins draw inspiration from Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers and Halloween (2018). Christopher Nelson supervised the mask design for the 2018 version.
  • The Civilian Characters Pack adds Eugene Kelly and Michelle Blanton. Eugene’s Lurker trait increases stamina regeneration and stalk degradation while he stays in bushes. Michelle’s Therapeutic trait allows her to heal nearby wounded Civilians and Residents when she uses a healing item.
  • Civilian Costumes Pack 1 includes 14 Halloween outfits, one per character, with a total of 42 color tints.

Tower Farm Terror also adjusts how both sides discover Residents and Special Targets, introduces Group Rage to help Michael deal with multiple nearby targets, and delivers bug fixes and gameplay improvements. These changes accompany the new content, though their impact on balance still needs to be assessed through actual play.

For me, Tower Farm remains the most compelling reason to return to Halloween: The Game. Learning new routes, finding hiding spots, and discovering an escape—all while working toward unlocking the Scythe—make these familiar hunts worth revisiting this Halloween.
