(developed by the renowned Team NINJA studio) will officially release the comprehensively upgraded and "definitive version" of the famous 3D fighting game Dead or Alive 6 (which originally debuted in 2019) across three platforms: PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Dead or Alive 6 Last Round will offer significant improvements compared to the 2019 version. First, the publisher has successfully optimized the hardware of the new generation. The game has received upgraded graphics and it will offer stable performance, and gameplay improvements to take full advantage of the power of next-gen consoles like the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and modern PCs.

The publisher also announced an entirely new Photo Mode. Players can freely arrange character positions, choose actions, facial expressions, camera angles, and adjust effects like sweat and dirt on the body to create the most stunning screenshots. The game will still retain its signature combat mechanics, including: Holds (precise counterattacks), Break Gauge (the energy bar to unleash special moves), Fatal Rush (easy-to-input but effective combo chains), and Danger Zones on the stage to maximize damage.

Dead or Alive 6 Last Round will feature a massive roster of 29 readily available fighters (pre-unlocked Nyotengu, Phase 4, Momiji, Rachel, and Tamaki) along with the explosive comeback of the two DLC beauties Mai Shiranui and Kula Diamond from THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIV. Alongside the upgraded map LOST PARADISE "OBORO", this version also includes 5 brand-new bonus outfits inspired by hit titles from Team NINJA, exclusively for the fan-favourite characters Kasumi, Ayane, Marie Rose, Honoka, and NiCO.

Alongside the paid version, the company will release a free-to-play version named DEAD OR ALIVE 6 Last Round Core Fighters. This version will allow players to try 3 characters for free from day one: Marie Rose, Honoka, and NiCO, while also experiencing online modes, Photo Mode, DOA Quest, and DOA Central.
