Automation Fest Kicks Off on Steam with Sales and Demos
A new event on Steam has launched today: Automation Fest, a celebration of all the machines and robots that take on the heavy lifting (hopefully without uprising anytime soon).
There are countless deals to seize and demos to explore, and whether you're interested in constructing the ultimate transport system, crafting futuristic kitchens, or terraforming alien worlds, the range of options in this genre ensures you'll likely find something ideal to enjoy.
In addition to a host of exciting discounts, the event also provides an opportunity to grab some new free items in the Steam Points Shop, all themed around mechanical chaos. As is customary, there are three free items available. To claim them, visit the Steam freebies page for Automation Fest. Once there, simply click on each item to add it to your inventory. After doing so, these free items from the Steam Points Shop are yours to use in your profile and chats.
Among the top offers featured in the Steam Automation Fest, you’ll find Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic available at a 50% discount. This game allows you to experience the challenge of managing a Soviet-style city, and it's easy to become engrossed in keeping everything running smoothly when you have control over almost the entire economy.
Guardener is a whimsical garden defense game with a lighthearted tone that doesn't take itself too seriously. If automation is your thing, Automachef is ideal, as you will be able to create robotic kitchens that either operate seamlessly or descend into amusing disorder.
For train enthusiasts, Rail Route gives you the ability to design and oversee your own railway network, and there's a genuine excitement when your routes finally come together. Lastly, we highlight Big Pharma, which combines science with business and incorporates challenging ethical dilemmas, making it more than just a factory simulation.
This is simply a brief overview of what’s available. However, don’t wait too long since this promotion runs for only one week, ending on July 21, 2025. As always, make sure to take advantage of our price comparison tool to find the best prices for your favorite upcoming games.
