Claim a 2D action platformer and more for free on Epic this week

The Epic Games Store has refreshed its weekly free games promotion once again. Following the conclusion of the Nightingale giveaway, the store is now offering Gravity Circuit for PC users to claim. As usual, you have a week to permanently add this latest indie title to your Epic Games Store library.

Gravity Circuit, released in 2023, comes from the developers at Domesticated Ant Games. This game pays tribute to classic platformers, featuring smooth movement mechanics and melee-centric combat rather than traditional projectile attacks. Players can utilize punches, grapples, and toss enemies into one another throughout their combat experience, with various upgrades available during the campaign.

The campaign consists of 12 stages, placing players in the role of Kai, tasked with defeating a nefarious army intent on world domination. The game is set in a futuristic world inhabited by sentient robots. War hero Kai, armed with his enigmatic Gravity Circuit abilities, is summoned as the last defense against the Virus Army adversaries.

Echoing the spirit of classic 80s and 90s platformers with a modern twist, Gravity Circuit emphasizes high-octane action. Channel your energy into devastating punches, unleashing spectacular combos and sending enemies soaring. Utilize a unique grappling system to close the distance and engage in intense close-quarters combat. Discover and master new abilities that will push your skills beyond their limits!

The Gravity Circuit giveaway on the Epic Games Store is active at this moment and will run until October 16. Additionally, Epic is also providing a $55 bundle of bonuses for the free-to-play medieval fantasy MMORPG Albion Online, with this offer set to expire on the same date. The store will present Amnesia: The Bunker and Samorost 3 for free the following week.
