F1 24 release date announced

This year's F1 Championship is about to kick off and it brings many novelties when it comes to teams, cars, and drivers. EA stays focused on delivering the best possible simulation of the most exciting racing competition worldwide, and it has prepared a new instalment of its popular simulation series for fans. F1 24 has been announced with a video that does not reveal much about its gameplay or features but that has arrived alongside the reveal of the official release date for the upcoming racing game. F1 24 will be released on May 31 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

A big surprise for the fans

Codemasters has also announced that F1 24 will arrive with a big surprise for all those who enjoyed the thrill of the competition last year. Those who own F1 23 and pre-order F1 24 Champion Edition before April 24 can take part in Time Trial challenges with a selection of new cars from the teams McLaren, Williams, Alpine and Haas of the new game. Senior Creative Director at Codemasters, Lee Mather, has revealed a couple of details about the novelties that F1 24 will bring to the series, namely a new handling system and Career mode.

"For the first time, our F1 23 players can now connect immediately with the 2024 season with some of their favourite teams ahead of this weekend’s first Lights Out. Our full reveal is coming soon, and we’re bringing players an overhauled Career mode, a new EA SPORTS Dynamic Handling System, and so much more."

According to the video, the official reveal of F1 24 will happen in April. It's then that we will know everything new that the game will include.
