It's Thursday, which means new games are available for PC gamers to claim on the Epic Games Store without spending any money. The current giveaways have replaced last week's offer of Legion TD 2. This week, players can download the indie titles Pilgrims and Keylocker | Turn Based Cyberpunk Action. As usual, you have a week to permanently add the latest games to your Epic Games Store library.
Pilgrims, developed by Amanita Design—the studio behind popular games like Machinarium and Samorost—offers a whimsical adventure experience. This title presents another point-and-click adventure, featuring a non-linear narrative as players embark on a journey to find a boat ride.
The game features numerous items and distinctive characters that assist in various tasks, with no fixed solutions for the puzzles. It’s also crafted to encourage high replayability.
On the other hand, Keylocker is a turn-based rhythm JRPG by Moonana Games, set in a cyberpunk universe. Drawing inspiration from classics like Chrono Trigger and the Mario & Luigi RPG series, the game combines turn-based combat with real-time rhythm elements.
"Amplify your moves with the electrifying power of music on this harsh planet, executing moves in time with the rhythm," according to the developer. "Fight against authorities, uncover Saturn's mysteries, perform at your own band's concerts, and hack the system to dismantle this corrupt regime."
The giveaways for Pilgrims and Keylocker on the Epic Games Store have begun and will be available until August 7. PC gamers can add these two titles to their library at no charge during this seven-day period. Looking ahead to next week, Road Redemption and 112 Operator will be the new free offerings.
