For Honor Halloween Event Brings the Dragomir Family and Bloodletting

The battlefields of Heathmoor are growing darker as Ubisoft officially launches The Bloodletting Halloween event on October 22, 2026. Part of Year 10 Season 3 Title Update 2, the event introduces two Legendary Hero Skins, a limited-time PvP mode, and a variety of new rewards. This time, For Honor takes a turn toward Gothic horror, placing a cursed family at the center of a bloody hunt inside Castle Dragomir, where dark secrets are waiting to be uncovered.

The Dragomir Family and the Dark Secrets Behind The Bloodletting

At the heart of the event are Severin Dragomir, better known as The Nightstalker, and his daughter, Liana the Pale. Drawing inspiration from Romanian history and the legends surrounding Vlad Țepeș, Ubisoft has created two characters with a distinctly vampiric appearance. However, the story behind this family is even darker than their appearances suggest.

According to Dragomirs, a new short story published by Ubisoft, Severin is a reclusive lord haunted by the death of his wife, Crina, after she gave birth to Liana. He spent years studying blood magic in the hope of bringing her back to life. Meanwhile, Liana grew up without her father's affection and secretly abducted villagers to supply blood for his experiments, hoping to finally earn his approval. As more villagers disappeared, the locals blamed The Nightstalker, unknowingly covering up the actions of his own daughter.

Things take a dangerous turn when Guljin sends The Keeper of Chains to Castle Dragomir to capture the father and daughter and bring them to her arena. This assault also sets the stage for The Bloodletting.

Both characters are brought to life through two new Legendary Hero Skins:

• The Nightstalker – Warmonger: Takes on the appearance of a cursed lord, wearing dragon-scale-inspired armor decorated with crimson gemstones and vampiric details.
• Liana the Pale – Virtuosa: Portrays the cursed daughter of the Dragomir family, featuring a Gothic design and supernatural traits similar to those of her father.

Unlike the hero Arakure, previously introduced by Ubisoft, The Nightstalker and Liana the Pale are not new playable heroes with their own combat movesets. Instead, what makes these Legendary Hero Skins special is how they react to the player's actions. Each enemy kill causes a soul to appear on the character's cape, with up to six souls visible at once. This marks the first time For Honor has introduced such a feature for Legendary Hero Skins. Both skins also come with new Romanian voice lines, further bringing their identities to life.

The two Legendary Hero Skins are available as paid DLC, allowing players to purchase them individually or choose larger content bundles. Each standalone DLC also includes 7 days of Champion Status and 3 Scavenger Crates. Ubisoft has also introduced three Halloween-themed bundles:

• Crimson Dragon Bundle: Includes The Nightstalker, Blood Magic Mythic Outfit, Bequeath Unto Me Emote, and Winged Death Growl Execution.
• Dragon's Daughter Bundle: Includes Liana the Pale, Crimson Blood Eternal Mythic Outfit, Bequeath Unto Me Emote, and Don't Cross Me! Execution.
• Ultimate Bloodcurse Bundle: Combines both Legendary Hero Skins, two Mythic Outfits, two Executions, an Emote, and the Skin of a Killer Effect, along with 14 days of Champion Status and 6 Scavenger Crates.

Beyond the new skins, The Bloodletting introduces a PvP mode set on a Gothic reimagining of the Secluded Keep map. Featuring three control zones and no minion lane, the mode retains territory-based combat while adding some interesting new mechanics:

• Blood Seals and Blood Altars: Each defeated opponent grants a Blood Seal, which can be spent at Blood Altars to gain one of three buffs: Bleed, Life Steal, or Shield.
• Boss Encounters: When the opposing team enters Last Stand, players must defeat either The Keeper of Chains or The Nightstalker before they can push the enemy team into Breaking.

These mechanics encourage teams to manage resources and deal with powerful bosses rather than focusing solely on capturing and holding objectives.

While the Dragomir skins are paid DLC, players can still participate in the event and complete Daily Orders to earn rewards through the free Event Pass. These include the Luminous Lantern Battle Outfit, The Keeper's Lantern Effect, and Spectral Lantern Ornament. Halloween-themed weapons are also available as loot throughout the event.

Beyond the Halloween content, update 2.71.1 brings balance adjustments to Jiang Jun, Juren, Nobushi, and Valkyrie, alongside improvements to the ranking points system and voice chat quality. Ubisoft has also confirmed upcoming Hero Fests for Jiang Jun, Aramusha, and Black Prior, as well as plans to celebrate For Honor's 10th anniversary with a special event in February 2027.

The Bloodletting does more than give Heathmoor a Halloween makeover. It also expands the story of the Blood Hunt season in an interesting new direction. By combining the Dragomir family's dark secrets with fresh PvP mechanics, the event offers something distinctive, especially for players looking for a different experience in For Honor.
