My Friend Pedro launches today

Dead Toast Entertainment and Devolver digital are ready for the release of their brand new action platform game, My Friend Pedro. Because of that, they have published an awesome trailer that showcases the very essence of this game where we play as a deadly assassin whose best friend is no other than a banana. And that's exactly what we can see in the video, a banana that will talk to us and induce us to spread violence by killing people in this indie action game.

My Friend Pedro is a side-scrolling action title that allows you to navigate through the scenarios of a city full of enemies as you get rid of them by shooting. But this is not just a simple run and gun experience; the game includes a series of gameplay mechanics that allow you to kill your enemies in spectacular ways, pretty much as you can see in the video. In My Friend Pedro, you dual wield pistols and you can shoot at your enemies slowing time as you perform incredible stunts, dodging bullets and raining shots upon your opponents. You can also make use of elements in the environment to bring your enemies down. It´s actually possible to launch a frying pan into the air and shoot at it so the ricochets hit your enemies, or split aim at two different targets as you jump through the air riding on a skateboard at max speed. While My Friend Pedro launch trailer doesn´t show any kind of gameplay there are other videos where you can see that the game is exactly as depicted on the cinematic trailer, banana included.
