Recently leaked benchmark reveals impressive 3DMARK performance for Intel's ARC Battlemage B580
Intel's ARC B580 has undergone the 3DMark benchmark, offering insight into its potential capabilities. This Battlemage chip appears to deliver strong performance relative to its cost, which is promising.
A benchmark result for Intel’s ARC B580 graphics card has surfaced on Chiphell, shared by @9550pro. It shows that Intel’s forthcoming ARC B580 achieved a 3DMARK Time Spy graphics score of 14,719. Specifically, B580 surpasses the previous generation’s A770 by 11% and outpaces the RTX 4060 by an impressive 31%.
In addition to these results, benchmark data for Intel’s ARC A750 and A770 have been included, along with data for Nvidia’s RTX 4060. Intel’s new ARC B580 has shown considerable superiority over all these GPUs. Unfortunately, benchmark data for Intel’s B580 was not provided. According to these scores, Intel appears to have crafted a balanced product. Even if its performance is comparable to RTX 4060 or Arc A770, Arc B580 remains an appealing option due to its lower price. Additionally, it boasts enhanced ray tracing capabilities and a larger VRAM capacity than the RTX 4060.

Historically, Intel’s ARC GPUs have excelled in synthetic gaming tests but have struggled in a broader array of game tests. It's worth noting that Intel has only asserted that their ARC B580 is roughly 10% faster than Nvidia’s RTX 4060 on average across games. Regardless of whether the difference is 31%, 10%, or even 5%, B580 possesses several advantages. If not its price, then its increased VRAM or the potential for driver enhancements in the future could be compelling. Team Blue aims to target 1440p gaming with this mid-tier offering, which seems reasonable when factoring in the new upscaling and frame generation capabilities.
Anticipated reviews for Intel’s ARC B580 are expected in the coming days. Soon, we will gain insights into how Intel's latest GPU performs across a wide range of games.
