Steam Summer Sale 2026 is live with thousands of hot game deals

June has already been packed with major gaming events. Summer Game Fest has wrapped up, the FIFA World Cup is still in full swing, and record-breaking temperatures are hitting many parts of the world. Now, another annual event has arrived to heat things up even further: Valve has officially launched the Steam Summer Sale 2026, bringing thousands of discounts for PC gamers.

As always, Steam is overflowing with deals, covering everything from recent AAA releases to beloved indie titles and hidden gems. Valve has once again accompanied the sale with one of its trademark lighthearted trailers, hosted by Kaci Aitchison. The humorous video showcases a variety of games featured in this year's event while giving players a taste of what they can expect to find throughout the storefront.

One pleasant surprise this year is that even several relatively recent releases have already received discounts. Steam's front page will continue highlighting different recommendations each day during the event, making it easier to discover new titles. However, as with previous Summer Sales, the discounts themselves are fixed from the start and won't change before the promotion ends, so there's no advantage to waiting for deeper price cuts.

Among the biggest games currently on sale are Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Split Fiction, Red Dead Redemption II, Battlefield 6, Resident Evil Requiem, Anno 117, ARC Raiders, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, and many more spanning a wide range of genres.

Valve has also brought back its popular Deep Discounts category, which highlights games reduced by at least 85%, with some titles discounted by as much as 95%. It's an excellent place for bargain hunters looking to stretch their budgets, with games such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Watch Dogs 2, Far Cry 4, Wreckfest, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, The Quarry, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II available for just a few dollars.

Beyond the discounts, Valve is once again rewarding players for browsing the storefront. Completing your Discovery Queue during the event unlocks a free pack of three animated Steam stickers, giving collectors a small bonus for exploring the sale.
