New cars, new track, more crashes: Wreckfest 2 update #7 is here

Wreckfest 2 early access gets a big new update full of chaos
Updates & Patches

Wreckfest 2 just got another big push in Early Access, and honestly, this is the kind of update that makes people come back instead of letting a game sit in the library collecting dust. Content Update #7 adds new cars, a new racing location, a new mode, and some proper gameplay changes that make the whole thing feel less like a small patch and more like another step toward the full Wreckfest 2 experience.

The update brings a good mix of silly, useful, and straight-up chaotic stuff, which is exactly what this game needs. The main additions include:

  • Three new vehicles: Half a Crusader, Stahlwagen, and Valken. One is basically a ridiculous half-car built for laughs, while the other two bring more classic racing and derby flavor.
  • New tuning options, giving players more control over brakes, suspension, steering, gearing, differential settings, and more.
  • Improved damage and collision physics, so crashes should look and feel better when everyone starts turning into scrap metal.
  • Better tire simulation and tarmac handling, which should help the racing side feel sharper.
  • AI, UI, audio, performance, stability, and online improvements, because Early Access games need these constant fixes just as much as new content.

Mora Raceway brings fresh roads for fresh chaos

The biggest content highlight is the new track, Mora Raceway. It is a US-style racing venue with three layouts, and each one feels made for a different kind of chaos. There is a full tarmac circuit for cleaner racing, a shorter sprint layout where contact is basically guaranteed, and a high-speed oval where things can go wrong very fast. It gives players more variety, and that matters a lot in a game where replay value comes from weird crashes, close battles, and people making terrible decisions at 200 km/h.

Then there is the new Suicide Racing mode. The name already tells you what kind of nonsense to expect. It leans fully into Wreckfest energy, with high-speed danger, wrong-way madness, and the kind of pileups that make you laugh even when you are the one getting destroyed.

Updates like this are what keep Early Access games alive. Players need reasons to return, test new stuff, complain, laugh, break things, and jump back in again. Wreckfest 2 is clearly still growing, but this update gives it more personality and more meat on the bones.
