Your Big Ambitions empire just got a lot more luxurious

Big Ambitions 1.0 finally lets you live like a millionaire
Updates & Patches

Three years of opening shops, hiring staff, managing stock and carrying boxes across New York have finally paid off. Big Ambitions has reached version 1.0, and this time the game is not only asking you to build a business empire — it is giving you more reasons to enjoy the fortune you worked so hard to create.

At the heart of the update is The Hamptons, a new neighborhood designed for players who are well past the struggling entrepreneur phase. Luxury homes, huge mansions and even properties inside a gated community now give successful players somewhere suitably expensive to live. After spending hours checking shelves, deliveries and employee schedules, moving into a mansion by the water feels like a proper endgame reward.

Getting around has also become much more fitting for a millionaire. A new private chauffeur service lets you provide a vehicle, hire a driver and call for a ride whenever you need one. There is even a luxury limousine available, because apparently driving yourself to work is no longer part of the business plan.

More fun, less busywork

Money is not the only thing to spend anymore either. Golf and tennis have been added as new activities, while a Brick Breaker game gives your character something to do at home. Food delivery has joined the game as well, so you can order a meal without heading outside. Funny enough, players still climbing the financial ladder can take the opposite role and earn cash by making deliveries themselves.

Running a massive company should feel less exhausting too. The new HQ Pricing Manager can handle prices across an entire neighborhood and offer recommendations as their skill improves, cutting down some of the repetitive micromanagement that comes with owning multiple businesses.

Loans, investments, taxes and banking have also been reworked. It is a nice balance: veterans get more luxury toys to play with, while the actual business side becomes easier to control.

That is what makes Big Ambitions 1.0 such a satisfying milestone. You still start small, work your way up and obsess over every dollar, but now reaching the top finally feels a little more glamorous.

The Hamptons update looks great, and I'm glad the developers also made managing multiple businesses easier. Now the real question is whether I'll ever stop working once I become a millionaire!
