Destiny 2: The Final Shape won't be the end of the saga

The war between Light and Darkness comes to an end in the latest expansion for Destiny 2. Warlocks will use their Song of Flame to boost their damage to unprecedented levels with solar power.

A new system

Bungie has confirmed that Destiny 2 will continue after The Final Shape. The studio plans to expand the game with new story arcs that will arrive in a different shape in the years to come. The developer is abandoning its seasonal system and launching episodes that will come in the form of three packs of content that will be released every year. These packs will be called Acts and each of them will include new content in the form of a new story, exotics, quests, armor, rewards, activities, and more. The transition to the new system will begin next March so there is plenty of enough time for players to enjoy Destiny 2: The Final Shape.
