CAPTAIN TSUBASA 2: WORLD FIGHTERS is the direct sequel to the previous anime/arcade-style football game, Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions, under development by TAMSOFT CORPORATION and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment!

The game will still retain the signature high-speed football gameplay style from its predecessor, rather than following a realistic football simulation approach. In this installment, the biggest highlight is the completely reworked confrontation mechanism between goalkeepers and forwards (goalkeeper vs. shooter duels). This mechanic is enhanced with brand-new tactical elements, along with superb saves and finishes (Super Moves/Super Shots) featuring spectacular cutscenes that closely follow the original source material.

Also, the scope of the game's content has been expanded. Along with 22 national teams, over 110 playable characters, more than 150 cutscenes, and over 100 energetic background music tracks, it promises to bring unforgettable emotions to players!

The game's storyline will continue from the previous installment and focus on the world youth tournament (World Youth Arc), where players will accompany Tsubasa to face fierce new rivals on the international stage.

The developer also introduced a new mode called NEW STARS ROUTE, which allows you to create your own custom player, join the Japan national team, and conquer the world championship alongside legendary characters.

CAPTAIN TSUBASA 2: WORLD FIGHTERS will feature a total of 3 game modes (single-player, online PvP, and shared/split-screen PvP/co-op), promising to bring incredibly wonderful experiences for you and your loved ones!
