Previously, the Monster Hunter series didn’t attract much interest outside of Japan and a small Western audience, largely due to its notoriously tough gameplay.

The upcoming edition in the Monster Hunter franchise, Monster Hunter Wilds, is scheduled to be released on February 28, 2025, and it has already created a buzz during its early open beta tests, drawing in over 450,000 participants.
