AMD delays Ryzen 9000 launch to August due to quality concerns

AMD says it's delaying retail availability for its Zen 5 chips, including the Ryzen 9 9950X and 9900X, as well as the Ryzen 7 9700X and Ryzen 5 9600X.
AMD has announced that its next-gen Ryzen 9000 series CPUs have been delayed until August. The news comes just days before the expected release to consumers, amid reports that reviewers had yet to receive their processors.
