A new double giveaway has just appeared on the Epic Games Store, providing a great opportunity for those who took advantage of last week's offer to complete a collection. This week, replacing last week's giveaways of Figment and Backpack Hero, all PC gamers can claim Figment 2: Creed Valley and Sky Racket.
Figment 2: Creed Valley carries on the grand musical adventure through the human mind introduced in the first game. Players will again assume the role of Dusty, the embodiment of courage, alongside his companion Piper, as they embark on a quest through Creed Valley. This surreal environment, filled with the ideals of the mind, features puzzles and musical boss encounters with nightmares. There is also an option for cooperative play for two players.
Sky Racket arrives as an indie mix of a shoot 'em up and Brick Breaker. Since players cannot directly attack enemies on-screen, the only option is to return their projectiles using laser tennis rackets. There are five worlds to conquer, with a two-player cooperative mode available as well.
The giveaways for Figment 2: Creed Valley and Sky Racket on the Epic Games Store are currently live and will run until July 17. When not available for free, Figment 2 is typically priced at $24.99, while Sky Racket usually goes for $14.99. PC gamers can add this pair to their library at no charge during this one-week period.
Following a series of indie game giveaways in recent weeks, Epic Games Store will unveil a significant free offering next week. Starting July 17, the 4X game Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, developed by Firaxis Games, will be the newest free title. This will be the Platinum Edition, containing a substantial portion of the game’s expansions and DLC content that came after launch.
