Build your party and save big in Steam’s RPG Fest with up to 90% off

Level up your RPG library with Steam’s Party-Based Fest and huge discounts

The Steam Programming Fest may have just wrapped up, but Valve is already moving on to another themed sale. This time, the spotlight is on party-based RPGs, bringing discounts across hundreds of games and DLC for players who enjoy building a team, planning their moves, and taking their time to execute the perfect strategy.

The Steam Party-Based RPG Fest 2026 features everything from celebrated classics such as Divinity: Original Sin 2 and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous to more recent hits and newly released adventures. As usual, Valve has also put together one of its tongue-in-cheek trailers, hosted by Kaci Aitchison, to showcase some of the games included in the promotion.

Among the biggest highlights is Baldur's Gate 3, which is currently 30% off. While that might not sound like a particularly dramatic discount, it matches the game's historical low price at official stores. Larian's acclaimed RPG remains one of the strongest examples of player freedom in a modern turn-based RPG, giving players enormous control over how they approach its story, combat, and exploration.

Another major discount is available for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which is 30% off during the sale. The RPG went on to dominate last year's awards season, earning recognition across categories including writing, music, voice acting, art direction, and overall game direction. It has even overtaken Elden Ring as the most awarded game of all time, making the current discount a good opportunity for anyone who missed it.

For something closer to a personal recommendation, Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter is also 50% off. The remake reimagines the beloved JRPG while preserving its story-focused approach, making it both a nostalgic return for longtime fans and an accessible starting point for newcomers to the wider Trails series.

Those are only a few of the highlights, with the broader sale featuring plenty of other party-based RPGs at significantly deeper discounts. The Steam Party-Based RPG Fest 2026 runs from September 14 through September 21, giving players an entire week to browse the lineup and pick up some new adventures for their party.
