Pricing for the RTX 5060 Ti has leaked, revealing costs for both the 8GB and 16GB variants
As reported on Board Channels (via VideoCardz), Nvidia has set the introductory price for the RTX 5060 Ti at $429 (RMB 3,599) for the 16 GB model. In contrast, the RX 5060 Ti 8 GB is reportedly priced at $379 (RMB 3,199), which is $50 less. These prices, if accurate, seem relatively reasonable compared to the initial prices of the RTX 4060 Ti in both its 8 GB and 16 GB versions.
The RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB debuted at an MSRP of $399, while the 16 GB version launched at $499. This $100 price gap was heavily criticized, as the RTX 4060 Ti did not exhibit a significant performance boost over the RTX 3060 Ti. Consequently, Nvidia faced considerable backlash for imposing a $100 premium for an additional 8 GB of VRAM.
However, we do not know how the actual market price of the RTX 5060 Ti will pan out. The high demand that has driven prices for mid-range options like the RX 9070 to soar is likely to negatively impact the final prices for consumers looking to buy the RTX 5060 Ti.

Furthermore, the recent trade tariffs imposed by the current US administration on nations such as Taiwan and China could further exacerbate the already challenging GPU market. The US has enacted a 32% tariff on imports from Taiwan and a staggering 104% on those from China following the latest increase. Both countries play a crucial role in Nvidia’s supply chain. Thus, if these tariffs persist, prospective GPU purchasers in the US might face significantly higher prices than the leaked MSRPs for the RTX 5060 Ti.
While the RTX 5090 establishes a new standard for peak performance, cutting-edge power isn't the sole option available. The RTX 5080 offers remarkable next-generation capabilities, ultra-fast ray tracing, and DLSS 4 support—all at a more affordable price.
