Ready or Not receives major stability and bug fix patch

VOID Interactive has released Los Sueños Stories Patch #2 for Ready or Not, bringing a massive wave of fixes aimed at improving stability, visuals, and gameplay across the board. This update addresses more than 185 bugs, signaling the studio's ongoing commitment to refining the tactical shooter experience.

Enhancements across the board

Among the most noticeable changes is the fix for a long-standing lightmap bug that caused lighting to appear grid-like and low resolution. While some shadow edge issues remain, visual quality has taken a clear step forward. Players will also see fewer black visual artifacts and better texture blending across many of the game’s maps. Also, a wide range of audio fixes have been implemented, tackling issues like broken VOIP loops, incorrect environmental occlusion, and muffled sounds when using gas masks. Explosions, bullet whizzes, and ambient audio now behave more consistently, adding to the game's immersion.

AI behavior has been improved significantly. Suspects now respond properly to CS gas, no longer freeze during reloads, and SWAT's use of flashbangs and gas is more effective. Several crash scenarios have also been addressed, including those triggered by the command wheel, VOIP issues, and specific mission actions. The user interface and controller support also saw a polish pass. Fixes range from mission selection bugs and broken controller prompts to cleaner gamepad navigation and better subtitle handling. Progression issues with certain achievements and gameplay stats have been resolved as well.

On the modding front, new tools and clearer matchmaking rules were added to better separate modded and unmodded lobbies. Performance and memory optimizations were also included, along with a minor update to the game’s replay system. While a few known issues remain, such as shiny arm textures and grip modifiers not working, VOID Interactive encourages players to continue reporting bugs via the official Ready or Not Discord.
