RAD is a 3D action rogue-like game, which means that every time you die you lose everything and will have to start again from the beginning, but, the more you play and die, the more you get access to shortcuts, extra items, and player characters when you come back.

Playing as a teenager, you must venture into the Fallow, an ever-changing, radioactive wasteland filled with unknown and unspeakable creatures. Whenever you defeat a mutant, you build up a meter that when maxed out will grant you a random mutation. This can be anything from a pair of wings to another person growing out of your arm or a snake for a head. And that is what makes the game entertaining!
