Demolish everything in your path with Instruments of Destruction, a sandbox vehicular simulator with a high fidelity physics-based system that lets you destroy just about any object in the game. If you can see it, you can wreck it.

The game’s physics engine allows you to interact with everything in it. You can shatter objects into smaller particles that look unbelievably realistic. An advanced GPU-driven system also gives you realistic grass effects and surface rocks.

Design and build your own vehicle to function as an engine of destruction. Put it together using all kinds of parts to build a standard construction vehicle, or something entirely crazy and new. Add items like rocket launchers and power saws to rip apart anything in your path. As you progress through the game, your list of parts grows as you unlock even more items. Mix and match in a variety of combinations till you get your ultimate destroyer.

There’s more to enjoy in Instruments of Destruction. Each island you explore has three difficulty levels: Normal, Challenge, and Expert, as well as Sandbox play. Accomplish your objectives and find hidden objectives to unlock more parts and even entire vehicles. There are no rules to how you achieve them either—just wreck away and fill your appetite for destruction.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

: Can I use the same vehicle configuration across multiple stages, or do I need to rebuild for each challenge?
You'll often need to adapt your vehicle designs based on the specific terrain and objectives of each stage. While you can save and load configurations, expect to iterate and optimize your builds frequently.; Does the game penalize me for using 'too many' parts or building overly complex vehicles?
The game focuses on effectiveness rather than arbitrary restrictions. Feel free to use as many parts as needed to accomplish your goals, but remember that more parts can affect stability and performance.; How does the in-game physics engine handle the destruction of large structures and environments?
The physics engine uses a dynamic system that allows for realistic deformation, fracturing, and collapse of buildings and landscapes. This is key to the gameplay.; Are there different types of 'payloads' or weapons I can equip to my vehicles, and how do they function?
Yes, you can experiment with various weapons such as explosive charges, projectile launchers, and other destructive tools. Each has unique effects on both the environment and enemy structures.; Can I repair or refuel my vehicles mid-stage, or do I need to restart if my vehicle gets too damaged?
There are no mid-stage repair or refueling options. Strategic planning and vehicle durability are critical to success, and often require multiple attempts to achieve perfection.; How does the game track and score my destructive performance?
The game uses a scoring system that takes into account the damage inflicted, the efficiency of your vehicle design, and the time it takes to complete the objectives.; Do different vehicle components have varying levels of durability, and how does this affect gameplay?
Yes, vehicle parts have durability ratings, and damage will impact vehicle functionality. Careful component selection is essential for vehicle survivability and completing objectives.; Are there environmental hazards that can damage my vehicle, and how do I avoid them?
Yes, levels often feature hazards like unstable terrain, enemy fire, and other environmental dangers. Careful observation and thoughtful driving are key to avoiding damage.; How important is vehicle speed versus raw destructive power, and how do I balance these two factors?
Both speed and destructive power are crucial. Balancing these requires an understanding of level objectives. Some scenarios will reward a fast, lightly armed approach, while others demand a heavily armored, slower vehicle.; Can I experiment with different vehicle construction materials, and do these materials affect gameplay?
Yes, different materials will have varying properties like weight, strength, and resistance to damage. These choices significantly impact how your vehicle interacts with the environment and performs under fire.
