Enter a dystopic cyberpunk universe where violence is the solution to all problems in Deadlink. In this frantic first-person shooter with stylized graphics and roguelike elements, you are the pilot of an experimental autonomous combat shell developed by the Corporate Security Agency. You are the most important member of an elite organization tasked with disrupting shady corporative operations and causing trouble to the big companies.

Plenty of weapons to choose from, improved reflexes and speed, and impressive mobility skills allow you to take on hordes of deadly enemies in a variety of ways. Debilitate them, chope them down in melee combat, burn them to a crisp, or shoot them down mercilessly. Anything goes as long as you complete your mission, but don't forget to leave a trail of destruction behind you that the corporates never forget.

As you progress through the game you will unlock additional enhancements that you can use on a new shell anytime yours get destroyed. Make the corporations pay in Deadlink.

    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

If a Deadlink is destroyed while carrying a Data Core, does the Core remain, or is it lost?
The Data Core is dropped at the location of the destroyed Deadlink, allowing for potential retrieval by another unit or the player's next deployment.
Can a Deadlink that has triggered an EMP blast still utilize its weapons, or are they disabled?
EMP blasts temporarily disable a Deadlink's weapons and abilities, forcing players to rely on other strategies or wait for the system to reboot.
How does the 'Overload' mechanic affect a Deadlink's ability to navigate the environment?
Overloading a Deadlink significantly reduces its mobility, making it slower and less responsive to player input, and more vulnerable to enemy attacks.
Can different Deadlink chassis share the same set of equipped modules and weapons during a single mission?
No. Each Deadlink chassis operates independently. Modules and weapons are chassis-specific and cannot be shared across different units within the same deployment.
Does the 'Breach' ability allow a Deadlink to bypass enemy shields or defenses directly?
Yes. The 'Breach' ability is designed to allow a Deadlink to temporarily bypass enemy shields and certain defensive measures, creating an opening for attacks.
Are the 'Augments' acquired during a run permanent, or do they reset after each mission?
Augments are temporary and are lost at the end of each mission, encouraging players to adapt and experiment with different builds each time.
How does the game handle the resource management related to the deployment of multiple Deadlinks during a mission?
The game uses a strategic resource pool that limits how many Deadlinks can be deployed simultaneously, encouraging players to make tactical decisions based on the situation.
Do environmental hazards, like toxic gas or collapsing structures, affect all Deadlinks equally, or are there resistances or vulnerabilities?
Yes, different Deadlink chassis and equipped modules can offer varying degrees of resistance or vulnerability to environmental hazards, requiring tactical awareness.
If a Deadlink is damaged by a specific type of enemy, does that damage persist across deployments, or is there a repair mechanism?
Damage to a Deadlink resets after each deployment. Players start each mission with a fresh unit.
Can the player customize the loadout of a Deadlink while inside a mission, or is it restricted to pre-mission selections?
Loadout customization is only available between missions, necessitating careful planning before each deployment.
