FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Ship customization is extensive, allowing changes to internal modules, weapons, and structural components. This impacts your ship's stats like cargo capacity, weapon power, shield strength, and overall maneuverability, directly affecting combat and exploration capabilities.; Are there consequences for actions in the game's factions, and how do these choices affect future mission availability?
Yes, choices within faction storylines affect your standing with them and with rival factions. Your decisions can close off questlines, unlock new ones, and impact the availability of specific missions and rewards.; How does the resource gathering and crafting system work, and what role do outposts play in this process?

Outposts allow you to establish automated extraction, crafting, and research facilities, streamlining resource management and production.; Can I pilot multiple ships, and if so, how is ship management and crew allocation handled?

Oxygen management is critical for survival on many planets. You manage oxygen by using oxygen tanks, suits, and finding shelter.; Can I engage in ground combat with ship weaponry, or do I need to disembark for that?
Ground combat is primarily handled on foot, though your ship's weaponry can be utilized in specific circumstances, such as orbital strikes, during certain missions or encounters.; Does the game feature a morality system, and does this impact the story and interactions with NPCs?
While not a rigid morality system, your actions have consequences. Choices influence relationships with factions and characters, which, in turn, impacts mission availability and the overall story progression.; How does the game handle fast travel, and are there limitations or costs associated with it?

Microsoft/Bethesda is selling a dream, and while some bugs are to be expected, as with all games, the ton of mods that will be arriving will more than make up for this. As the new spearhead of Game Pass, I think Microsoft will be pulling out all the stops on its follow-up. In short, for me it's preco and I don't think I'll be disappointed.

I am a fan of all things space and sci-fi, so I will be sure to add Starfield to my library. Unlike many though, I'm avoiding getting carried away with enthusiasm because first I want to make sure the game runs well and without any particular problems (I still have the launch si Fallout76 on my mind...so let's take it slow)

I want to be confident about the quality of the game, but I'm just afraid, given what Bethesda has released in recent years. In any case, it's certain to be full of bugs, but that's to be expected (even if it shouldn't become the norm).

One of the strongest candidates for game of the year, if it really is what those who have had review copies say it is, I'm looking forward to playing it. What I really expect from this game is good gameplay and interesting missions.

Bethesda's next big hit. Created by the creators of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout, Starfield is a futuristic open-world RPG with many similar gameplay elements, and has been in production for over six years!

It looks so good! I can't wait to try it and learn more. I hope it will be similar to Star Citizen on how to fly the ship, how to use it, how to fight and so on... it would be really AWESOME! :)

It's really a killer now, will it stay that way or with the optimizations we'll quickly lose this beauty?
