Halloween is an asymmetrical horror action game based on the iconic Halloween film franchise, developed by IllFonic and published in partnership with Gun Interactive.

Set in 1978 in the suburban town of Haddonfield, the game recreates the atmosphere of the original movie, placing players in the middle of a tense survival scenario where “The Shape” has returned.

Players can take on one of two core roles:

• Michael Myers (The Shape) – Become the legendary horror icon and stalk the streets using stealth, environmental awareness, and lethal abilities. The goal is to hunt down victims while avoiding detection from increasingly alert townsfolk and police response systems.
• Heroes of Haddonfield – Work as survivors trying to protect civilians, gather resources, and escape the town before Michael Myers eliminates them. Players can coordinate with others, use improvised weapons, and even direct NPCs to gain an advantage.

The game features 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer, combining stealth horror, survival mechanics, and dynamic AI-driven systems. Townsfolk react to player actions, call the police, and can either hinder or help survival depending on how the situation unfolds. This creates a constantly evolving sandbox where no match plays out the same way twice.

In addition to multiplayer, the game features a single-player narrative experience that lets players relive key moments from The Night He Came Home from Michael Myers' perspective, expanding the lore of the original film.

Powered by Unreal Engine 5, Halloween emphasizes cinematic lighting, realistic suburban environments, and immersive sound design to recreate the suspense and dread of classic slasher horror.
