Super Mario Maker 2 receives a major update tomorrow

The Super Mario series has a really huge amount of fans that love its games and characters. Over the years, we have seen Mario and his friends present in all kinds of platforms games but there are a couple of them that shine because they allow players to let their creativity loose to design all kinds of levels for their favorite Super Mario games. Super Mario Maker was the first game that allowed you to do that, but its sequel has a lot of new features that make it even better. With Super Mario Maker 2 you have plenty of assets from Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, New Super Mario Bros. U, and Super Mario 3D World at your disposal. You can use them however you want to create levels, play through those levels and share them with other friends. But if that's not enough for you the game keeps receiving new features through free updates, and a new one will be available tomorrow.

The final update for Super Mario Maker 2 will add a new World Maker mode that will let you play with elements from Super Mario 2 and design world maps with up to 40 courses. You can navigate through them pretty much like in the original game as you progress through the different levels. But the update also includes mechanics from Super Mario 2 and you will be able to pick up enemies and other elements, carry them over your head and throw them to break blocks, trigger switches or defeat enemies. The update also introduces a few power-ups from other games, like the Frog Suit, the Power Ballon, the Super Acorn or the Boomerang Flower. On the enemies side, the Koopalings and a few Mechakoopas along with the spooky Phanto are among the new threats that you can include in your levels.

With this update, Super Mario Maker 2 will have everything needed to create almost anything you could think of in the Super Mario universe.
