The game has a nice identity and that is what makes it appreciated by players, the gameplay is reminiscent of hitman and the story is well done

It's a real surprise: without really knowing what to expect from 007 First Light, I ended up having an excellent time. This successful adaptation perfectly respects the spirit of the franchise, thanks in particular to a Bond who is more human and less infallible than usual. The strong point is the excellent balance between action and infiltration. Far from being a simple, frenetic shooter, the title encourages observation, reflection and the intelligent use of gadgets. Supported by spectacular staging, the missions follow one another without redundancy. Although there are a few hiccups, such as the slightly inferior vehicle phases, nothing detracts from the overall experience.

Many times games based on secret agents end up becoming simple shooters, but from what players comment, here it seems that stealth, investigation and gadgets are quite important.

Frankly, IO Interactive (the studio behind Hitman) has succeeded perfectly. The game reinterprets the James Bond character brilliantly: we find the spirit of the films, its charm, its humor and that iconic license to kill, but with a younger, more impulsive Bond, which fits in perfectly with the original story. In terms of gameplay, it's a delight: the visuals, cutting-edge AI and freedom of approach of Hitman (infiltration, gadgets, multiple paths) are all there, but the studio has adapted the formula to suit the more nervous and spectacular action of 007. In short, it's still great IOI, but with Bond's soul added.

As an absolute fan of the James Bond universe, 007 First Light was one of my most eagerly awaited games of the year, and the verdict is clear: it's an unqualified success. The title brilliantly captures everything that makes the license so charming, blending elegance, tension and spectacular action. I loved the balance between the infiltration sequences, where every decision counts, and the more explosive moments reminiscent of the saga's best films. Buoyed by its meticulous direction, the game offers some truly memorable moments. Even if the gameplay doesn't break any new ground, it's still devilishly effective and fun to play. All in all, this is a solid, fast-paced adventure that perfectly respects the world of Agent 007. An unmissable experience for fans of the British spy.

Creating a young version of Bond could generate doubts, but from what the players comment it seems that the character works very well and manages to be charismatic without trying to imitate previous versions.

After completing the game, I can say that it left a positive impression on me. Its main asset is its atmosphere: you really feel like a young James Bond thanks to the infiltration phases, the gadgets and the missions that take you around the world. The mix of stealth and action works well, even if some of the combat remains fairly classic. Visually, the game is very well done, with blockbuster-style production. I also appreciated the freedom offered in several missions, allowing you to achieve your objectives in different ways. On the other hand, the artificial intelligence of the enemies is sometimes erratic, which can slightly detract from immersion. All in all, 007 First Light is a solid, spectacular adventure, faithful to the spirit of Bond. Without being revolutionary, it's a title I'd recommend to fans of action and infiltration.
