ASUS unveils the ROG Astral RTX 5080 DOOM Edition GPU
ASUS has teamed up with Bethesda and id Software to develop a customized RTX 5080 graphics card that commemorates the launch of DOOM: The Dark Ages. This new graphics card is the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5080 DOOM Edition, and it's visually stunning.
This exclusive graphics card draws inspiration from DOOM’s legendary DOOM Slayer, showcasing a green and gold color palette along with numerous DOOM-themed artworks and decals. It will be sold at the Bethesda Gear Store and comes with an exclusive T-shirt, mouse pad, yellow key card, and an ROG-exclusive DOOM Slayer in-game skin. Additionally, this GPU includes the Premium Edition of DOOM Eternal, provided to players via a redeemable Steam code.
The latest graphics card is built upon the ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5080. The GPU is 3.8 PCIe slots wide, making it one of the largest graphics cards available today.

DOOM: The Dark Ages utilizes idTech 8, which allows for native ray tracing to render next-level visuals in the game. It also supports features such as DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Generation capabilities. The game includes a path-traced mode that enhances visuals significantly.
As with all RTX 5080 graphics cards, this limited-edition variant boasts 16GB of GDDR7 memory. This GPU model includes four of ASUS’ Axial-tech fans and incorporates a vapor chamber heatsink design along with a phase-change thermal pad.
Take note that this limited-edition GPU can only be purchased through the Bethesda Gear Store. It will be available on April 29th at 10 am BST, though the pricing for this unique GPU has yet to be revealed. This GPU will be offered internationally.
