Take a first look at Halo Infinite's multiplayer

All the games in the Halo series feature a thrilling single-player campaign with a deep storyline that puts the focus on the Master Chief. The iconic Spartan supersoldier John-117 has fought against countless enemies through the galaxy with the invaluable help of his AI assistant Cortana. Halo Infinite will bring Master Chief back in "his greatest adventure yet to save humanity".

Even though the single-player campaign will be an essential part of Halo Infinite, its multiplayer mode is getting all the attention of the fans, mainly because 343 Industries has decided to make it free-to-play for the first time in the series. That will give access to the game to an unprecedented number of players who are dying to know more about it.

Thankfully, developer 343 Industries has just published a video that gives players some insight into Halo Infinite's multiplayer ahead of the technical preview that will take place this weekend. Yesterday's Halo Infinite livestream includes plenty of footage about the game and comments from the developers. The video includes a Big Team Battle match that starts around minute 50 if you want to go directly to the multiplayer action, but it also offers a lot of information about Halo Infinite, so it's worth watching.

When will I be able to play Halo Infinite?

It's a bit disappointing that Halo Infinite is going to be missing several features at launch, mainly campaign co-op, Forge Mode,  but these will be added in the first few seasons after launch. That shouldn't be a major problem, as it's sure that multiplayer will keep players busy for a while in Halo Infinite. After several delays, the game will finally be available on December 8, 2021, and we can't wait to enjoy it.
