Forspoken expansion launches in May

After quite an anticipated release, Forspoken has turned out to be one of those games that you either love or hate. Its magic-based combat and traversal mechanics are praised by some players while others find the game disappointing in some areas. The game was expected to be one of the great releases of 2023 but the developers had to admit that it required a bit more work and promised improvements. Frey Holland's adventures in the world of Athia are an exciting experience that lets you explore a vast world but Forspoken leaves open many questions about its origins. The upcoming release of an expansion will try to fill the gaps while offering novelties and improvements to the game.

Earlier than expected

Luminous Productions announced that Forspoken was getting a DLC ahead of its release. In Tantas We Trust will expand the story by focusing on the previous prior to Frey's arrival at Athia. In the expansion, Frey will be sent 25 years into the past to experience events that will shed light on the current situation of the world. She will meet new characters, including Tanta Cinta, and unlock new magical powers and abilities that will be of great use later.

The release of In Tantas We Trust was originally expected for the summer, and it will take place on May 26, 2023. We don't know if Luminous Productions has moved the launch forward to please the fans or in order to hook back those that felt disappointed with Forspoken at launch. 

If you are any of those and you own the Deluxe Edition of the game you will have access to the In Tantas We Trust DLC as soon as it's available since it's included in the package.
