Gears Tactics will be a launch title for Xbox Series X

Xbox Series X and the recently announced Series S will both become available on November 10, and that's also going to be the launch date for Gears Tactics on both consoles. There is an increasing list of video games that will be available on day one for next-gen consoles and this is just another chapter in the fierce competition between Microsoft and Sony to see who gathers more adepts for their next-gen consoles ahead of their release. Microsoft is betting video games series of consolidated popularity and titles like Assassin's Creed: Valhalla and Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be the spearhead of its offensive. Those two are joined now by the recently-released Gears Tactics, a game that, although completely different to its predecessors, still provides a great turn-based strategy experience for the fans of the franchise. 

Gears Tactics maintains the spirit of the license with aggressive gameplay and spectacular action, while it also offers plenty of options for strategy and squad management as you lead a group of soldiers fighting against the Locusts in a story that takes place before the events of the first Gears of War.

The release of Gears Tactics on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S has been announced via the official Twitter account of the game, where you can also see the price they will have.

Gears Tactics is also included in the Xbox Game Pass, which offers you the possibility of playing more than 100 games, also on PC, just by paying a subscription fee.
