HITMAN 3 is getting another whole year of content

Recently, we have known that HITMAN 3 is the most successful game of all time in the series starring Agent 47. The assassin has a lot of fans, but it's the gameplay of the latest installment in the series that has captivated the players. According to IO Interactive, their numbers add up to more than 50 million for the whole World of Assassination trilogy. The developer has also confirmed that HITMAN 3 will receive a second year of content after a first one full of DLCs and additional content.

"HITMAN 3 launched in early 2021 was a huge success and we are very proud that the World of Assassination trilogy reached the phenomenal milestone of 50 million players. Today it's all about confirming that the extensive content of Hitman 3 will continue after the market launch in 2022 with new maps, new storylines, new modes and new ways of playing."

IO Interactive already has new content ready for HITMAN 3, and it will launch it in early 2022. The developer will continue supporting the game throughout the year, but it will start by adding several new features on January 20. The game will support Ray Tracing and PS VR starting on that date, and it will receive a new game mode: Elusive Target Arcade. The developer will reveal more information about the new gameplay mode and what platforms the VR version will support in the coming weeks, along with additional details for a big update planned for Spring 2022.
